Our Mission
The heART Mission is a 501c3 community service -based organization designed by artists of the Broadway community to give back to the community through acts of service. These services include but are not limited to; clothing drives, food drives, preparing and feeding the homeless or family and youth in crisis, mentorship programs providing masterclasses and performing.

Martina Sykes
Meet The Founder
Founder & Owner
of the heART Mission
Martina Sykes is a native of St. Petersburg, Fl. Her love of giving back started Thanksgiving 2014 volunteering with Broadway Serves. The more she learned from participating in events and becoming a tour liaison for community service, she was inspired to create an opportunity to give to her hometown. She founded the heART mission to not only feed and clothe the less fortunate but also use the arts to uplift them.
After graduating from Gibbs PCCA High School 2006, Martina went on to pursue her bachelors degree in Public Relations from the University of Florida (Go Gators!).
Currently, Martina is performing the lead role of Shenzi in Disney’s The Lion King (Nation Tour). Her favorite credits include: Motown The Musical (Broadway,National Tour), Rent (regional), Raindogs (US premier) and vocal recording with Tituss Burgess.
