SykesKids Scholarship
SykesKids
The Sykes Kids Scholarship founded by Broadway Actors and PPCA Alumni Ephraim and Martina Sykes. The scholarship will award two promising seniors from PCCA with plans of moving to New York to further their education in the arts or began the broadway dream.
The students will be chosen by the Sykes’ with the help of the department supervisors and guidance counselor. These students have displayed resilience, strength, integrity and hard work.
India Patterson
Recipient
India is a recent graduate of Pinellas County Center for the Arts at Gibbs High School. She was a dance major who studied modern, ballet, jazz, West African and so much more. India is currently working at Impact Dance Academy. She teaches jazz and contemporary. She also choreographs for their shows and competitions. We are thrilled to have India as the first recipient of the annual SykesKids Scholarship.
Hyjah Faye
Recipient
Hyjah is a proud recent graduate of Gibbs PCCA dance department. She studied modern, ballet, jazz, West African and more. Hyjah currently working at Impact Dance Academy, teaching jazz and contemporary. She also choreographs for their shows and competitions.We are honored to have Hyjah as the first recipient of the SykesKids Scholarship fund.
